Retreats

The Buffalo Woman Ranch is a place nestled between the Blue Mountains in Utah and the Four Corners. It is a 50 acre sanctuary whose purpose is to facilitate nurturing and renewal at a deep level for all who enter.

We offer individual intensives/retreats as a co-creative journey. Intensives at the BWR are focused on being authentic in all relationships, through the Way of the Horse. With our herd of 6 horses, we co-facilitate the Equine Experiential Learning aspect as well as teachings on authentic community. When you are in a sacred space to feel your feelings and hear false self messages, a lot can be explored in relationship to experiencing "congruency" in the round pen of life.

Charlie and Robbie, Equine Experiential Learning Facilitators and Co-Founders of the Buffalo Woman Ranch provide horse interactions/processing daily (weather permitting). Counseling, Energy Kinesiology (for releasing trauma/limbic system balancing), wisdom council, shamanic journeying, ceremony, and vision quest are parts of the medicine bundles we carry.

We offer these housing options for our intensive participants :

A private, spacious wooden yurt/hogan, with a nurturing bath house and exquisite mountain and sunset views, also two large canvas yurts with kitchen facilities. $300 per day includes nutritious, mostly organic meals, lodging as well as daily horse experiences (EEL) facilitated by Charlie, Robbie, and Wren. Sessions in Energy Kinesiology and Craniosacral work are offered at $80 per session additional charge.

A small straw bale Zen space for a reduced rate or work study program. Includes meals.

Camping on the land is available during warmer seasons and can be arranged on an individual basis at a reduced rate when appropriate.

Anyone with severe allergic conditions to dogs or cats would be advised that there are 4 dogs and 7 cats on the premises who are an important part of our healing community.
